of-counsel-attorneyChris Kaigle is a native Floridian born and raised in Orlando. He attended the University of Central Florida where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. After graduating from UCF, Chris pursued his legal passion and obtained his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

After passing the bar, Chris returned home and took a position with the Office of the Public Defender in Orlando. During his time as a public defender, he handled a wide range of misdemeanors and felonies and it didn’t take long for him to earn a reputation as an aggressive and skillful lawyer. Within one year, Chris was promoted to the felony division where he handled a variety of cases, ranging from simple shoplifting and drug possession, to domestic violence and aggravated assault. By the time Chris left the Public Defender’s Office he had handled nearly every type of crime. After leaving the Office of the Public Defender, Chris became a private attorney so that he could reduce his caseload and provide even more attention to his clients.

Today, Chris is recognized as a premier defense attorney in Central Florida. The National Trial Lawyers recently named him one of the top 40 attorneys under 40 and one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He was also recognized as a 2016 Rising Star by Super Lawyer’s Magazine and received the Avvo Client’s Choice Award for Criminal Defense in 2015, as well as the Avvo Top Contributor Award in 2014. Chris is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
